This week I went on an adventure over the Welsh border to Llangollen & Pontcysyllte.
After recently getting my hands on the Lee Super Stopper Filter, I was desperate to try it out. Living so close to the Welsh border, this wasn’t my first trip to Llangollen so I knew it would be a good place to put the super stopper to the test. First stop, the river.
Venturing down to the rocks at the edge of the water meant I was able to get some great views of Town Falls both up and downstream.
Lee Filters new Super Stopper lowers your aperture by 15 stops, meaning slow shutter speeds can be used in broad daylight without the risk of over-exposing the shot. I had a play around with different exposure times and different viewpoints and I was really impressed with the results.
Combining the Super Stopper with my 10 - 18mm wide angle lens made for some really great shots!
Equipment used - Canon 70D, Canon 10 - 18mm f4.5 - 5.6, Canon 18 - 135mm f3.5 - 5.6, Lee Super Stopper.
