On my latest adventure I was lucky enough to return to Chicago for the second time this year. Out of all the American cities I have visited so far, Chicago is definitely up there as one of my favourites, so I couldn't resist sneaking it into my trip.
Although we were stuck to a very tight time schedule we managed to fit in just about everything we had wanted to do, which of course included treating ourselves to a traditional Chicago deep dish pizza at Pizzeria Uno - the acclaimed inventors of the Chicago-style pizza.
Fortunately, we were greeted by perfect weather again, albeit much colder than my previous trip in the height of summer! The city looked even more beautiful in the crisp winter light, all dressed up for the Christmas festivities. We had a great day venturing around; wandering through Millennium Park, down the river, along the lake front and down Michigan Avenue.
I will definitely be planning another visit to the Windy City in the near future, with an obligatory pitstop at Pizzeria Uno!
