Earlier this year I was lucky enough to spend a month in America with friends as the penultimate stop on my 18 month trip around the world. While I was there I couldn't resist making the most of this opportunity and booking a few days in New York City. This was my first time visiting New York so obviously I wanted to see as many of the sights as possible. From arriving in the city at 6 o'clock on a Friday morning until we left three days later, it was a jam packed weekend of touristy fun; slowly but surely getting through that bucket list!
We couldn't have asked for better weather, which meant I had some amazing photographic opportunities. I was in my element, clicking away everywhere we went...
One of the highlights of the trip for me was definitely spending our last night watching the sunset over the city from the top of the Rockefeller Centre... not forgetting going to the one of the oldest pizza restaurants in the country, shopping on Fifth Avenue and visiting the Friends apartment building!
