Shooting your baked goods, meals or ingredients in my studio means I have access to all of my props, backdrops, surfaces etc, meaning I am able to create the imagery you need whilst you concentrate on your business; saving you both time and money! Pop your ingredients in the post, arrange secure delivery of your takeaway meals or allow me to prepare the recipe for you under your instruction, and leave the rest to me! We can discuss exactly how you would like the images to be styled; whether you’re after a light and airy feel or moody and atmospheric, what props you’d like to be used and exactly how you’d like to showcase your food and your business.

Restaurant and location shoots.
Having your food shoot in your restaurant, cafe or home kitchen will allow the atmosphere of your business to show through in the images, as well as meaning you can take more control over the styling of the food. Capturing your recipes in your business’ environment, along with my props and studio equipment, will result in professional, consistent imagery to fit perfectly with the feel of your restaurant. Food shoots don’t have to only be about the food, shooting in your venue means we can also incorporate interiors, branding and even staff headshots into your shoot. How it works.
Once your booking is in place, we will have a chat over the phone so that you can tell me a bit about your your business, your brand, your recipes, ingredients or products, and what you’d like to get out of your shoot. We will create a shot list, discuss props and styling ideas and figure out what kind of shoot will suit you best. If you choose to send me a recipe, I will source the ingredients and props required to prepare and capture the dish. If you are focusing on meal kits or takeaways, we will arrange safe delivery or collection at a convenient time for us both immediately prior to the shoot to make sure all the food is fresh and looking its best!
Whether you have ingredients or products which need to be photographed in a styled set up or for e-commerce, we can decide on which backdrops, surfaces and props would suit the items best. The products can then either be posted to me or for local companies we can arrange collection.
Within 7 days of the shoot you will receive a link to view your images in your private, online gallery containing both a high-res version ideal for print and a web-optimised version, ready for you to use on your social media platforms, online store and website. From here you can select, download and use your photos however you wish.
Food shoots can be styled any way you would like; whether you are after seasonal imagery (for christmas, valentines, easter, halloween etc), content to be used all year round, or simple, minimalist e-commerce photographs.
